  • Gone are the days when a vendor at the Olympic Stadium would yell “HOT DOG/CHIEN CHAUD!”.

    The Office Quebecois de la langue Francaise accepted the term “Hot Dog” (pronounced Ut Dug) as a French noun and now its the most widely used term to describe a wiener in the province. The Olympic Stadium is the last known location the words “Chien-Chaud” were heard.
